Frequently Asked Questions

Are all parts of the Celeste Christmas Stocking worked in colourwork?

No. The leg uses a five-colour stranded pattern, while the top rib edge, heel and toe are worked in one solid colour.

Do I need to check both plain and colourwork tension?

Yes. Check your gauge in both fabrics, as stranded knitting can be tighter than plain stocking stitch. The stocking is worked from the leg towards the toe, with a short-row heel.
