Striped Baby Overalls – Naturally K3008
Sweet two-colour overalls with ribbed leg cuffs, a shaped bib and button-fastened straps. This 4ply pattern covers newborn, 3-month and 6-month sizes for a cosy little layer.
Construction and pattern facts
Knitted flat from the leg cuffs upwards. Each front and back begins with separate legs that are joined to form the body; the back continues into the buttonhole straps. Sew the side and inside-leg seams, then add the two buttons. Work the stripes with one strand of the relevant colour at a time, not two strands held together.

Gauge
28 stitches × 36 rows over stocking stitch on 3.25 mm needles = 10 × 10 cm. Check a washed and blocked swatch before beginning.
Needles and notions
- 2.75 mm and 3.25 mm needles for working flat.

- One stitch holder, two buttons and a tapestry needle.

No. They are knitted separately in rows and sewn together. The buttonhole straps are worked on the back.
