Top Down Simple Jumper with Stripes – Naturally K3018
A little striped 4ply jumper with a raglan yoke and ribbed edges. Alternate solid and printed yarn for changing colour details, or choose your own two shades from the recommended ranges.
Construction and pattern facts
Worked in the round from the neck down. Hold the sleeve stitches while knitting the body, then work each sleeve in the round from the held stitches and underarm pickups. Stripes alternate between the two yarns; use one strand at a time and carry the resting colour up the inside of the work. Finish by weaving in ends and gently blocking.

28 stitches × 36 rows over stocking stitch on 3.25 mm needles = 10 × 10 cm. Wash and block a swatch before checking stitch and row tension.

- Four stitch markers, with one different marker for the beginning of the round.
- Waste yarn to hold the sleeves and a tapestry needle.
Skill guidance
Confident beginner to intermediate: knitting in the round, raglan increases, managing stripes, holding stitches, picking up underarm stitches and sleeve decreases. Keep the collar cast-on stretchy and read the body-and-sleeve division before starting.
