Tension
28 stitches x 36 rows = 10 cm (4") in stocking stitch using 3.25mm (US 3) needles.

Size and fit
One size: approximately 0–3 months, as specified in the pattern. Finished head circumference and finished hat height are not supplied; check your tension rather than relying on an estimated measurement.
Designs and construction
Includes seven designs: Linda’s Cabled Hat, Textured Hat, Lacy Hat, Another Textured Hat, Hearts Hat, Beady Hat and Broken Rib Hat. Each is knitted flat, with a shaped crown and a centre-back seam. Techniques vary by design, from knit-and-purl textures to cables and lace.
Estimated yarn requirements
New Zealand Merino 4ply is our approved shop replacement, worked single-stranded. Approximately 178 m per 50 g.
These equivalent-metre estimates use the original Magic Garden Classic 4ply allowance at 89 m per 25 g. They are not confirmed designer consumption for the replacement yarn. Knit and wash/block a swatch to match the pattern’s gauge, and allow extra for swatching or changes.
