About the Pattern
The jacket is knitted flat in separate pieces, with shaped armholes and sleeve tops. After joining the shoulders, stitches are picked up for the ribbed front and neck edging. Knitted ties secure the crossover front. The hat is worked flat and seamed.

Ages are a guide; choose by chest measurement. The pattern covers newborn to 12–18 months. Each kit supplies one jacket and hat set. Follow your chosen pattern size within the combined option.

About the Yarn
Sesia Bio Bimbo is an Italian-made 4ply yarn in 100% organic combed cotton, with 180 m per 50 g. It is soft, breathable and machine washable. Follow the ball-band care instructions, reshape gently and dry flat.
Colour patterning: start every ball from the same end — either all from the centre or all from the outside. The colour effect varies with garment size and may differ from the photographed sample. The variegated sample in K451 uses shade 2244.
Tension
28 stitches × 36 rows = 10 × 10 cm in stocking stitch on 3.25 mm needles. Make, wash and dry a tension square before beginning, and adjust needle size if needed.

- 2.75 mm and 3.25 mm knitting needles suitable for working flat.
- A stitch holder and sewing needle for finishing.
- Optional: one snap fastener, attached as directed in K451.
