Seaside Set Knit Kit for PetiteKnit Pattern | Baby Sweater & Pants Set
Seaside Set Knit Kit — PetiteKnit Baby Sweater and Pants
Knit a beautifully coordinated baby outfit in Sandnes Garn Sunday 4ply. PetiteKnit’s Seaside Set pairs a striped raglan sweater with comfortable solid-colour pants, both worked from the top down in soft, non-superwash merino wool.
Why You’ll Love This Knit Kit
- A complete sweater-and-pants outfit for babies from 0–1 to 12–18 months.
- Top-down construction makes it easy to check length as you knit.
- Pre-selected two-colour combinations take the guesswork out of coordinating the set.
- Sandnes Garn Sunday gives clear stitch definition and a light, comfortable fabric.
About the Pattern and Construction
The sweater begins back and forth while the front button plackets are formed, then joins in the round and continues from the top down with raglan increases. It is finished with alternating stripes. The pants are worked top down in the round in the second selected colour, with short rows to raise the back and a folded waistband containing elastic.
Skill Level
Intermediate. The pattern uses raglan increases, working flat and in the round, stripes, buttonholes, short rows, folded hems, small-circumference knitting and finishing.
