About the Pattern
The back, front and sleeves are knitted separately from the bottom up in stocking stitch, then joined and seamed. The shoulders are joined using a three-needle cast-off. Stitches are picked up around the neckline for a ribbed neckband finished with a rolled stocking-stitch edge. The neckband may be worked flat or in the round.
The pattern uses stocking stitch, ribbing, simple increases and decreases, neckline shaping, picking up stitches, a three-needle cast-off and mattress-stitch seaming.

Tension
22 stitches and 30 rows to 10 cm in stocking stitch on 4.00 mm needles. Check your tension before beginning and change needle size if required.
Needles and Notions

If 3.50 mm needles are unavailable, the pattern notes that 3.25 mm needles will make a firmer neckband and 3.75 mm needles a looser neckband.
