Construction and Skill Guidance
The body and sleeves are worked flat in separate pieces and seamed. Pocket inserts are worked into the fronts, and the shaped hood is picked up around the neckline, worked back and forth and joined at the top.
Suggested skill level: Intermediate. Be comfortable with shaping, working pocket inserts, picking up stitches and seaming.

The original pattern uses Rosários4 Merian Print 4ply, approximately 220 m per 50 g, photographed in shade #1.

Work with a single strand. Metreages are approximate yarn allowances converted from the original pattern quantities, rather than measured consumption. Allow extra for swatching or changes in size. Check a washed and dried swatch before starting.

You’ll Need
- 3mm and 3.25mm straight needles
- 3.25mm circular needle for the hood, used back and forth
- Stitch holder and markers

- Yarn needle for seams and pocket finishing
Tension
28 stitches and 36 rows to 10cm in stocking stitch on 3.25mm needles. Also check 27 stitches to 10cm in garter stitch on 3.25mm needles; no garter-stitch row tension is stated.
