- 200 metres of Chaska Muhu Baby Alpaca DK/8ply in your selected colour.
- One printed Wild & Woolly Slouch Beanie pattern.
- One pair each of 3.25 mm and 4.5 mm ChiaoGoo bamboo straight needles, both 23 cm long, only when you select With under Without or With Needles.
- One large 10 cm possum-fur pom pom in the shade paired with your selected yarn colour.
The pattern is also available separately. The pom pom is supplied with both needle options; you can choose whether to attach it.
Size and tension
One size, intended to fit an average adult head. The pattern gives approximately 23 stitches to 10 cm. Tension affects the finished fit and drape, even though an exact tension is not essential to this design.
Needles and finishing tools
The flat method requires 3.25 mm and 4.5 mm straight needles and a tapestry needle for sewing the seam and finishing the crown. Choose Without if you have your own knitting needles. The With option supplies one pair each of 3.25 mm and 4.5 mm ChiaoGoo bamboo straight needles, both 23 cm long. A tapestry needle is required separately.
Yarn and care
Chaska Muhu is 100% baby alpaca with 100 metres per 50 g. Hand wash in cool water and dry flat in the shade, following the ball band. If giving the hat as a gift, include the care details.
