About the Pattern
K3051 includes a lace-patterned jacket with a three-button fastening, plus a matching hat and booties. Choose your size by chest measurement, using the ages as a guide.
Skill Level
Intermediate. You will follow lace instructions, work increases and decreases, make buttonholes, pick up stitches and sew seams. The jacket is worked flat in one piece to the underarms, then divided for the fronts and back; sleeves are worked separately. The hat and booties are also worked flat and seamed.

Yarn Information
Bio Sesia 5 is a smooth 100% organic combed cotton in 4ply, with 180 metres per 50 g ball. Its breathable fabric and clear stitch definition suit summer babywear. Knit with one strand throughout. Follow the care instructions on the ball band and dry your swatch before checking tension.
Tension
28 stitches and 36 rows over 10 cm in stocking stitch on 3.25 mm needles. Check a washed and dried swatch before starting.
Needles and Notions
You will need 3.25 mm knitting needles, stitch holders, stitch markers and a tapestry needle for sewing seams and weaving in ends. Knitting needles and tools are required separately.
